Hello Church Family! On Sunday, May 7th, we will spend the teaching portion of our worship service on the topic of family discipleship, then gather afterward for lunch and further discussion…One of a parent’s greatest privileges is to teach their children the Gospel, and model it for them in everyday life. Our hope is to begin a conversation where parents (& grandparents, guardians, couples, ministry workers, etc.) can hear what God says they are to be in the lives of their children, ask questions, share experiences and resources, and help one another grow in faithfulness in this very important ministry. One of the blessings of being a part of a church is that we are not alone on this journey, which can be, both, tremendously challenging and greatly rewarding. As a church family, we have the responsibility to come alongside and support one another in this work. If you are involved in ministering to children/teens in any way, want to help families in our church, or just want to be a part of the conversation, please let us know you’d like to stay for lunch on that day.
