Lonnie came to serve as pastor at Caz Church in November 2013. He grew up in Tennessee, served in the U.S. Marine Corps in North Carolina, and lived in Kentucky for a time before coming to Buffalo. While in the military, Lonnie met his wife, Catherine, and they have been married since 2001, having seven children along the way. The oldest two are in college, and the younger five are homeschooled by Catherine. Lonnie’s desire is to daily follow Jesus, and to serve the members of the body by faithfully teaching God’s Word. His hope is that, through the power of the Gospel, the love of Christ will live and spread in his own home, and in the South Buffalo community. Lonnie holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
