Wait For It…

Everyone hates waiting. What are you waiting for that God seems “slow” on? James — Jesus’ half-brother — aims to encourage believers at the end of his letter. And in chapter 5, he offers us wisdom on how to be patient while suffering. Joe helps us see how we should wait for the Lord as followers of Jesus Christ.

Upside down anger

Jesus packs so much in His Sermon on the Mount. In just 15 minutes of reading, Jesus covers a large swath of topics: God’s Law, our sinfulness, God’s sinlessness, lust, divorce, adultery, revenge, loving our enemies, giving, prayer, fasting, anxiety, judgement, and yes, anger.
