Trust & Delight: Four Marks of a Christian

Psalm 16 is a psalm of confidence and joy in God’s presence. David declares that the Lord is his portion, his refuge, and his delight. Even in uncertainty, he rests secure, knowing that God will not abandon him to death but lead him into the path of life. This psalm points beyond David to Christ — whose resurrection guarantees eternal joy for all who trust in Him.
HAPPILY EVER AFTER

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

In this message, we look at Hebrews 11:13–16 — a passage that reminds us we are strangers and exiles on the earth, looking forward to a better country, a heavenly one. Faith doesn’t just look back at what God has done; it looks ahead to what He has promised. As we study this text, may we be stirred to live as people who belong to another kingdom — confident that God is not ashamed to be called our God, for He has prepared a place for us.

Do You Know What You Have?

As we continue to study the Book of Ephesians, Paul reports on his prayers for the church at Ephesus. He desires that the recipients of his letter would have a precise and personal (“epignosis”) understanding of God Himself. Paul also records several truths that he wants his readers to KNOW. The Reality That Awaits Those Who Persevere

God’s Word gives us a picture of the New Heaven and New Earth. This is where God will dwell with His people for all of eternity. There the effects of the fall will be done away and the world will be renewed. We can trust this is to come because God who is sovereign over all of history promises it. This is promised to those who persevere and should motivate us to do so.

Love is Strong, Part 2

The cross of Jesus Christ has so secured us to Him, that we have a hope that extends beyond this world, which enables us to endure all things while we’re in this world.

There is a God in Heaven

In spite of current appearances, God is in control, and His Kingdom will win in the end. God’s people need to be reminded of this now, just as they did in Daniel’s time.

The name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other, Peninnah. And Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. 3 Now this man used to go up year by year from his city to worship and to sacrifice to the Lord…
