JESUS! The One I used to Love

From Psalm 139:7–24, we discover that God’s presence fills all of creation — there is nowhere we can go where He is not. His nearness brings comfort, conviction, and a call to deeper devotion and holiness.

Steadfast Yahweh

In this standalone message, Elder Joe takes us through Psalm 103:1-14 – a text where God’s character, forgiveness, and covenant bleed through every line. We have endless reasons to bless the Lord with ALL that is within us, but we must also take note of what we preach to ourselves as we do so. It is our hope at Caz Church that a deeper sense of gratitude and praise will result after the study of this Scripture – a passage…

Spirit-Filled Living

In Ephesians 5:18-21, Paul gives the Ephesians three ways they can live Spirit-filled lives. By God’s grace we are enabled to further submit to the Spirit’s sanctifying work through worship, thankfulness, and mutual submission. This is what it looks like to live a life yielded to the Holy Spirit. When we live submitted to the Spirit through these means, we can expect to progressively experience the fruit of the Spirit. We will truly be living as the temple of God.

The Glorious Nature of the Church

God has chosen the Church to be His people in the world. He has bestowed on them a special status and made them to be a set apart people. He has done this out of His own kindness and mercy through the gospel. The Church is to glorify him through worship and tell of His goodness to the world as a result of His kindness and mercy toward them in Christ. A people who were once not a people are now the people of God because of the Cross.

Don’t Forget Your Place

This text presents us with the reality that God’s people are already in the presence of God, as we live in this material world. This should lead to obedience and reverent, awe-filled worship.

What do we do?

Acts 2:42-47 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common.45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their…
