Praising God For His Providence

Praising God For His Providence

In Psalm 139:7–24, David moves from God’s perfect knowledge to His inescapable presence and righteous character. There is nowhere we can go from God’s Spirit — He is with us in the heights and the depths, in light and in darkness. His presence is both comforting and convicting. The psalm closes with David inviting God to search and know his heart, revealing that awareness of God’s presence should lead to worship, repentance, and renewed devotion.
